Whether your idea of a great day on the water is reeling in a big catch, or kicking back and enjoying a cruise, you’ll want to give Salty Fly Cape Cod a call.
Based in Barnstable Harbor, Salty Fly is in the capable hands of Captain Avery, a long-time fisher and charter guide who holds a USCG 50 Ton Masters Merchant Marine Officers License. She’s one of the few female saltwater fly fishing guides on the Cape, and a graduate of the Joan Wulff Fly Fishing Schools, so if you’re looking to improve your flycasting technique a bit, Captain Avery can help there too!
For striped bass fishing, our area is considered as one of the best in the world, and Captain Avery knows the water inside and out. Sign up for a guided trip and enjoy a great day of fishing, peppered with valuable fishing tips and local insights. Guided tours run four or six hours and include all the gear, so all you have to think about is having a good time.
If you’d rather just watch the scenery pass by and relax, sign up for a Salty Fly Harbor Cruise or Beach Picnic. On the Harbor Tour you’ll see top attractions, including the Great Marsh, Sandy Neck Lighthouse and Cottage Colony, and the wealth of shorebirds that live in this pristine natural setting.
The nearly three-hour Beach Picnic includes a short boat ride to a secluded beach where guests savor a catered dinner, as they cozy up to the bonfire and watch the sun set. And yes, it’s as delightful as it sounds!
